Many physicians are affected by school, child care, adult care, and pet care facility closures as part of the COVID-19 pandemic. Below are resources for physicians who need to tend to children, adults, or pets during this period. As we enter the summer months, these challenges impact a larger number of faculty and have also become more diverse. The needs of each parent/family are unique and there is no single best solution for all families.
The governor and the state of California also are regularly evaluating and updating the guidelines for summer camps and other child care options.
Below are a list of some of the available resources for physicians who need to tend to children, adults, or pets during this period.
